The core logic of this equipment is a two-step process of "cold crushing + hot pelletizing," because foamed materials are bulky and contain a large amount of air bubbles, which must be compressed and degassed before they can be pelletized.
· Core Machine Configuration: A single-screw vented pelletizer is adopted, with a high-speed crusher and a forced feeder mandatory at the front end to prevent bulky materials from "bridging" and clogging at the feed throat.
· Key Technical Point (Venting & Dehydration): Foamed materials contain bubbles and moisture. A lateral drain hole must be installed on the main extruder barrel; otherwise, the pellets will foam and become brittle.
· Filtration System: Foamed scrap often contains impurities such as tape and labels. A hydraulic screen changer (fitted with 40–120 mesh screens) is recommended for continuous operation without stopping the line for screen changes.
· Capacity & Energy Consumption: Depending on the model, production capacity ranges from 100 to 500 kg/hr, with typical energy consumption between 100 and 200 kW.
