Wenzhou Int’l Shoe Fair committee invited to 2025 China Plastic Shoes Development Conference.
On December 15th, the second membership meeting of the CPPIA Plastic Shoes Committee and the National Plastic Shoes Industry High-Quality Development Exchange Forum (referred to as the 2025 China Plastic Shoes High-Quality Development Exchange Forum) was grandly held in Jieyang, Guangdong. The event was attended by nearly 200 participants, including Wang Zhanjie, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council and Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA), along with relevant government and industry leaders.
As a crucial exhibition platform for the footwear and leather industry, the organizing committee of the Wenzhou International Leather, Shoe Materials & Shoe Machinery Fair was invited to this significant industry gathering. They joined elites from the national plastic shoes sector to explore pathways for the industry's high-quality development.
In the morning, attendees visited Jieyang Shenglubao Footwear Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Huifeng Mould Co., Ltd. They gained an in-depth understanding of the companies' achievements and practices in plastic shoe production and technological innovation, and examined cutting-edge technologies in mold design and manufacturing and their application in plastic shoe production. During the tour, participants engaged in thorough discussions with company representatives on topics such as production processes and material innovation.
The second membership meeting of the CPPIA Plastic Shoes Committee commenced promptly at 2:00 PM. The meeting reviewed the committee's work report, elected and appointed a new leadership team, with Huang Weibing elected and reappointed as the Chairman of the second committee. The assembly also held in-depth discussions on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry and charted its future development course.
The subsequent National Plastic Shoes Industry High-Quality Development Exchange Forum became the focal point of the event. Industry experts and enterprise representatives engaged in profound discussions on topics including technological innovation, environmental upgrade, market expansion, and intelligent manufacturing within the plastic shoes sector.
During the exchange, a representative from the Wenzhou Fair organizing committee introduced the role of the Wenzhou exhibition platform in facilitating connections across the industry supply chain and promoting the commercialization of technological achievements. They expressed their commitment to continue building bridges for industry communication and supporting innovative development in the plastic shoes industry.
This conference provided a valuable platform for exchange and cooperation for the national plastic shoes industry. The 29th edition of the fair will be held from August 20th to 22nd, 2026, at the Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. It will be held concurrently with the "China International Synthetic Leather Exhibition" and the "China (Wenzhou) International Sewing Equipment Exhibition" (collectively referred to as the Wenzhou Leather, Shoe Materials & Shoe Machinery Fair). Leveraging regional industrial chain advantages, the exhibition deeply integrates upstream and downstream resources from footwear and leather industry chains in Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, and other regions. It gathers high-quality resources for intelligent footwear and leather manufacturing, continuously driving the industry's transformation towards digitalization, intelligence, informatization, and flexibility.
The exhibition will showcase new products and technologies including leather, shoe materials, footwear chemicals, footwear accessories/hardware, synthetic leather, shoemaking machinery, sewing equipment, digital printing, laser equipment, cutting equipment, and 3D/CAD/CAM systems.
