First successfully held in 1996, Wenzhou Int’l Leather Fair is of important significance on shoe & leather industry development in Wenzhou, even in China. Insisting on the intention to make Wenzhou internationalized and let world focus on Wenzhou for 20 years, Wenzhou Int’l Leather Fair has gradually become an international platform for trading, displaying and communicating on the basis of China Shoe Capital.
We all know that without the support from the government, industry associations, chambers of commerce, exhibitors from home and abroad, professional buyers, press media and every insider, Wenzhou Int’l Leather Fair would not have such a magnificent history. On the occasion of its 20 years’ anniversary, the organizer launches a set of concurrent activities to enrich the visit, improve the effect and offer better service for Wenzhou Int’l Leather Fair.
Wenzhou Int’l Leather Fair experienced ups and downs and was well known in global shoe making oriented countries and regions in the past 20 years, during which Chinese traditional shoe & leather industry has gone through 3 phases from “Made in China – Quality Made in China- Intelligently Made in China”. During these years, we established cooperation relations with more than 10,000 global exhibitors and hundreds of thousands of professional visitors from about 100 countries and regions. We also keep good cooperation with organizations in shoe & leather industry from Italy, the USA, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, HK, Taiwan and etc. For the promotion part, we connected well with more than 100 press from this industry to promote the fair.
The industry changes with times. Now, we are 20 years old. We keep the pace with this age and carry out the preparation work with thought of innovation and changes. This session, the fair mainly focuses on industry hot spots such as machine substitution, solvent-free synthetic leather, environmental materials and etc. Compared with previous sessions, the organizer innovatively adds new ways like micro site, html5, wechat and etc in order to achieve better promotion effect. In the service part, every staff of the organizer adjusts and improves themselves for the purpose of providing more caring and careful service for exhibitors and visitors.
Tomorrow is a brand new start. Twenty years’ accumulation will be history, but we are still full of gratitude to the age and industry.
