shoes grows steadily. With the end of EU's anti-dumping duty on China footwears, 

footwear export is expected to take a leap in the coming year.

 cultivated by 15 years' effort, the 16th China (Wenzhou) Int'l Leather, Shoe Material 

and Shoe Machinery Fair (ALL CHINA SHOE-TECH) will be held on 26-28 August,

Wenzhou has been recognized as a traditional manufacture base for shoes and other

 leather products. Even after the financial crisis, there are still more than 2,000 shoe-making factories in Wenzhou. According to statistics, the value of foreign export 

for footwear, apparel, luggages and bags has exceeded US$ 100 million in Q1 of 

2011. Every year, there are orders from all over the world purchasing millions of shoes

Again, the China Int'l Synthetic Leather Fair (CSLF) will be held concurrently with ALL

 CHINA SHOE-TECH. With worldwide growth on the price of raw materials, the 

demand for synthetic materials continues to rise. Exhibits of CSLF cover PVC/PU, 

superfine fibre, other synthetic & artificial materials, chemicals and environmental

-friendly machineries. While at ALL CHINA SHOE-TECH you can see semi-finished/

finished leather, process chemicals, shoe components & accessories, tannery 

machineries, shoe machineries, CAD/CAM system, etc. Together these two fairs 

comprehensively cover all materials and technologies needed in leather and shoe 

manufacture industry.

Expanded Scale·Upgraded Service

2011 ALL CHINA SHOE-TECH & CSLF will reach a new record both in exhibition area

 and number of participants. This year, there will be 1,300 standard booths, covering

 35,000 sqm exhibition area which is almost 10% larger than last year, and spreading

over 6 halls. By the end of May, 85% of the booths have been reserved. It is expected 

to have about 600 exhibitors from home and abroad.

 

Meanwhile, the organizing committee has been constantly making efforts in enriching 

visitors' experience by arranging a set of activities including conferences, forums and 

trend shows, both on-site and off-site. The one that favors the overseas visitors 

most should be "Trip to Local Manufacturers". By visiting the production flowline and 

sample room of Wenzhou leading synthetic leather manufacturers, participants could 

obtain first-hand knowledge and have opportunities for direct business negotiation.
