Strong results continue for Stella in second quarter
The company reported unaudited revenue of US$422.5 million for the second quarter of the year, up by 0.7% year-on-year. Shipment volume was up 5.7% to 14.8 million pairs while the average selling price declined 5% to US$28.70 per pair.
For the first half of the year as a whole, the company reported revenue growth of 7.4% to US$748.8 million. Shipment volume grew 12.3% to 26.5 million pairs and the average selling price was down 4.4% to US$28.30.
The company expects to record a net profit of no less than US$90 million for the first half of the year, which would be up by 63% year-on-year.
CEO Chi Lo-Jen said: “We are pleased to see the strong volume growth in the beginning of the year extend into the second quarter as we continue to see strong demand across all of our product categories, led by Sports.”
