Footwear Production in Wenling City Growing Steady
Footwear is a pillar industry of Wenling City, before the economic crisis its growing speed kept at 15% per year. However the increase reduced to 1.3% in 2008, it has been recovered and growing at a fast speed in 2010.
Reported by Wenling Footwear and Leather Chamber of Commerce, in 2010, the output of Wenling’s footwear sector recorded RMB 26.99 billion, up by 7.1 year-on-year. The volume of output reached 1 billion pairs, increased by 7.5% compare with 2009. 17 footwear manufactures were entitled Top 100 industrial enterprises of Wenling, and Taizhou Bolite Group even ranked the sixth of the list.
