Hong Kong shoppers prefer leathergoods
The survey conducted to Shenzhen citizens who made shopping in Hong Kong, the result reveals that highly educated and high income people are the main consumers shopping in Hong Kong, and clothing and leather goods are the most favorite products by mainland consumers, which accounts for 71.11% of their consumption godds.
The survey launched by Shenzhen retail association and a Shenzhen Survey Company that mainly focuses on the citizens in Shenzhen city.
The survey shows that one of tenth citizens in Shenzhen go to Hong Kong for shopping in 2010, it also shows the more welfare people and more frequently shopping in Hong Kong. Clothing, leather goods, Jewelry and digital products and Cosmetics, luxury products are the commodities attracting them mostly.
The survey says products with same international brand sold in Hong Kong are much cheap than that in Shenzhen city, they believe products are more dependable sold in Hong Kong with a wide range of categories for choosing.
