Leather production in China up in value by 26.1%
In the first ten months of 2010 the Chinese tanning industry produced leather with a value of $16 billion, according to the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA).This represents an increase of 26.1% on the value of tanneries’ output in the first ten months of 2009.
For the month of October, production value in tanneries increased by 25.5%.
