REACH regulations implementation approach, export enterprises pre-register next month
All chemicals related enterprises must pre-register for REACH regulations (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) during 1st June to 30th Nov. this year so as to enjoy 3-11 years’ transition period, provides enterprises need to do business with the EU in 2009 and after. At present, only less than a month time ahead the pre-registration period, the Fujian Foreign Trade Department and Inspection and Quarantine Bureau hold free training courses in Quanzhou,
Export cost will increase more than 5%
A month later, EU REACH regulations will enter formal implementation stage. As China is facing one of the biggest technical trade barriers, REACH regulations will play as the all chemicals preventive management to protect human health and environment. Its not only include more than 30,000 kinds of chemicals, but also include 5 million kinds of downstream products, such as petroleum, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, textiles, clothing, toys, shoes, furniture, mechanical and electrical industries.
