High Growth in Export of China’s Leather Industry in the First Seven Months
From January to July 2022, the total export of leather industry in China reached US $60.51 billion, up 29.6% year on year, accounting for 2.93% of the total national export value. At the same time the total import value was US $10.27 billion, down 10.5 percent year on year, accounting for 0.65% of the country's total import.
The trade surplus of import and export in China leather industry products reached $50.24 billion, up 42.7% year on year, accounting for 10.42% of the total trade surplus of China.
In the first seven months of this year, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports reached 4.6 trillion yuan, up 2.4 percent, according toGuangdong Branch of General Administration of Customs. For theexports it reached 2.91 trillion yuan, up 6.9%, and Imports were 1.69 trillion yuan, down 4.5%.
From January to July, exports of footwear in Guangdong province increased by 23.1 percent, and exports of luggage and bags increased by 21.1 percent.
