Sales of Shoe Washing Machines Soared by 700% during the National Day Holiday

From January to August 2022, the sales of shoe-washing machines exceeded 300,000 sets, of which 300-500 yuan products accounted for 49.5% of the market share.
As the product is in the stage of market import, there are so many no-brand products, the brand competition is fierce, and clear brand awareness has not been established among consumers, so there is no stable brand pattern yet.
Besides, users’ evaluation of the shoe-washing machine is inconsistent. Although the product has a novel appearance and is time-saving, most users are unsatisfied with its shoe-washing effect. There are problems such as shoe-upper damage after washing, inability to wash the inside of the shoes, shoelaces winding, loud running noise, and unsatisfied pre-sales and after-sales service existing.
However, with the growing voice and influence of young people in consumption, so-called "delicate laziness" consumption is becoming a trend. The growth of the team of young people who love shoes has further promoted the development of the shoe-washing machine market. Therefore, as far as the demand side is concerned, the shoe-washing machine market still has considerable prospects.
According to AVC, the retail sales of shoe-washing machines will reach 280 million yuan and 471,000 sets in 2022.
