"JAPAN LEATHER SHOWROOM" Opens in Milan
The project, inaugurated during Milan Fashion Week, is aimed at promoting the expansion of Japanese leather footwear in the Italian market.
On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week last September, The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan inaugurated "JAPAN LEATHER SHOWROOM," an initiative aimed at promoting Japanese leather footwear, presenting five different brands to the press and buyers: Brightway, Haruta, Numero Uno, The a and My. The project's mission is to spread the idea that extended the use of leather products and proper dissemination and sharing of materials and know-how can make the future of the leather industry more sustainable.
